Maple Cinnamon Walnuts

Looking for a healthy but sweet snack to curb those cravings? You have to try these glazed walnuts that will not only tame your sweet tooth but also help promote brain health.


16 oz shelled halved walnuts

1/2 cup organic pure maple syrup

1/4 tsp organic ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Grease a baking sheet with oil

  3. In a large bowl, combine the walnuts and maple syrup. Gently toss for 1-2 minutes to ensure each piece is coated evenly. Sprinkle cinnamon over them and stir some more.

  4. Spread out in an even layer onto prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake 13-15 minutes or until syrup becomes thick and sticky. Stir 2-3 times while baking.

  6. Remove and transfer to parchment or wax paper in a flat, even layer. (any nuts that are touching may stick together when cooled)

  7. Let cool at least 5 minutes before eating.

  8. Once completely cooled, store in an airtight container.
